Quick Start Guide
Please review the User Manual and Safety Instructions prior to setting up any events.

Dash Drill
The Dash is a time/speed measure from point A to point B with optional splits in-between. Note that Dash uses a stationary start and requires 2 timing gates.

Flying Drill
The Flying drill is a time/speed measure from point A to point B with optional splits in-between. Note that a Fly uses a moving start and requires 2 timing gates.

Pro-Agility
The Pro-Agility is a test of speed, explosion, body control, and ability to change direction. This drill uses a stationary start and requires 1 timing gate. An additional gate can be added if a 3-point start is desired.

Lap Drill
The Lap drill can be used for any application that requires the start and stop at the same location. This drill can use a stationary or moving start and requires 1 timing gate. Additional gates can be added if splits within a lap are desired.

T-Test
The T-Test is a simple running test of agility, involving forward, lateral, and backward movements, appropriate to a wide range of sports. This drill uses a stationary or moving start and requires 1 timing gate.

L-Drill
The L-Drill (3-Cone) is a test of speed, quickness, flexibility, body control, and ability to change direction. This drill uses a stationary start and requires 1 timing gate. An additional gate can be added if a hand start is desired.

RAST
The standard Running Based Anaerobic Sprint Test (RAST) involves six sprints over 35 meters with a 10 second recovery between each sprint, and provides measurements of peak power, average power and minimum power along with a fatigue index. This drill uses a moving start and requires 2 timing gates.

Reactive Agility Test
The Reactive Agility Test (RAT or Y-test) is a test of speed, agility, and the ability to recognize stimuli, and react to it. This drill uses a moving or stationary start, requires 4 timing gates and 2 React modules.

505 Agility
The 505 Agility test is a test of 180 degree turning ability. The test may also be adapted for sport specific testing by having the subject dribble a soccer ball or hockey puck though the course, or bounce a basketball. This drill uses a moving start and requires 1 timing gate.

Reactive Shuttle
The reactive shuttle test uses a stimulus (light) to dictate which direction the athlete goes - right or left. This drill uses a stationary start and requires 1 timing gate and 2 React modules.

Vertical Jump
When using Dashr|Jump hardware for this test you will need a Vertec or similar vane based system, and we will make it smart! You can also manually enter jump measurements into the Dashr app.

Broad Jump
The Standing long jump, also called the Broad Jump, is a test of explosive leg power.

Biometrics
Speed, agility, jump, etc. measurements are key, but knowing the size of the athlete helps complete the picture. Whenever you are testing, you should at least know the height and weight of each athlete.
