COD on Ice
Dashr | Blue - Operating the
Adaptation of the standard Pro-Agility for the ice is designed to test a player's ability to transition from defense to offense quickly and efficiently. It involves a player starting from a stationary position on the blue line, skating forward to the red line, stopping, and then quickly turning around and skating back to the blue line. The player must then stop and pivot again, before skating forward to the red line once more. This drill is often used in tryouts and training camps to evaluate a player's speed, agility, and ability to change direction quickly.
Step-by-step instructions

This drill uses 1 Dashr|Blue Timing gate. You likely already have your devices registered, if not - please check out the Pro-Agility Drill as it is the same process.
Setting up the drill
To set-up this drill you will have a starting gate on regular tripods around waist height.
Place the gate on a line or mark a line with cones (not included). Indicate left and right boundaries, either lines or cones.
To get to this drill go to the Pro-Agility on the main page or Sport Collections > Hockey > Pro-Agility.
Power on the laser, and connect it in the App.
Once connected, press "Start Testing".
Running the drill
Check in the appropriate athlete (details here) - optional. Note that this can time one athlete at a time. Multiple lasers and phones/tablets can time additional athletes.
When ready, the athlete stands in the laser at the start. After getting the "GO!" message he or she skates to the left or right (your choice or theirs) tagging the line, crossing over to the opposite line, then finishes through the laser.
Split and finish times are recorded.
With QuickRun on, get set while in the gate, after 3 sec of blocking the laser you will get a "Go!" message. Leave the laser when you want (time will turn blue - indicating that timing is taking place), and you get a result when you cross the gate again.
With QuickRun off (option in settings) you will see “Set” and “Reset” buttons to give you control of when a test starts. Press "Set" once the athlete is ready to take off - then you will get the "Go!" message. Press "Reset" to clear the time for the next athlete.
