Frequently Asked Questions

Are Dashr lasers class 3R or 3B?

Dashr 2.0 and Blue lasers are class 3R.

Dashr 2.0 and Blue use a visible light laser to make it easier to set-up the system as compared to IR systems where the lasers is not visible. Class 3R lasers range from 1-5 mW and are considered low risk for eye injury. Additionally, our lasers are de-focused – preventing minor vibrations from tripping the system (~2.25in diameter at 10 ft). This adds to the safety component of the system.

This being said, we never suggest positioning the laser or the athlete in a manor that has the potential for the laser to enter their eye.

**Note: There was a misprint on some of our labels that state “Class 3B” as opposed to 3R — these labels are incorrect and we apologize for any confusion.**
