Hello I purchased the Dashr primarily for 60 yd training w/ a baseball start. It seems I cannot test from a stationary baseball start position. Am I correct ?
Hey coach! Sorry for the late reply. Though you can use the Dash drill for a stationary start in the beam, we suggest using the Flying drill for 2-point starts with the athlete lined up just behind the laser. When the athlete starts in the laser (Dash drill), they have to move all the way out of it before the clock starts - giving them an advantage. Using the Flying drill, the clock starts as soon as the athlete leans into the laser to take off.
